Course Objectives:

This class is designed to introduce the student to Digital Video. This course will introduce students to various ways to construct digital videos for the Internet or VHS using I-Movie. Students will be able to search various Internet sites and retrieve numerous amounts of information from previous videos to use for the class. This class starts with simple Video terminology and functions to more complex Video construction techniques.

Course Calendar:

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
* The student is responsible for all assigned material and coming to class prepared to discuss that material.
* Homework is due at the beginning of each class. Late homework will be accepted up to one week after the due date for no more than 3/4 credit. All homework should be clearly labeled with your name and class time. Each section should be stapled together.
* Only one test can be made up with a valid absence excuse. This make-up test will have a grade reduction of at least one letter grade. If you know of a class time conflict during a test date, please see me before the test date.
* If a student is absent from class, they are responsible for all work missed. This work should be made up
before or at the next class meeting time. Grade on assignment will be deducted 10% for being late if the before mentioned is not obtained.
* Class participation with hand's on computer time during class is required in order to fully comprehend the lessons.

The project VIDEO will consist of a documentary video on some facet of life at school.

Students will choose a partner, team agrees on a topic; team creates storyboardno editing..The video needs to follow a detailed storyboard exactlyNO EDITING lasting 3 minutes in length.

Social issue or conflict that affects teenagers' lives today.

 3 1/2 to 5 minute Video

This weekly project will consist of a OGHS Weekly Titan T.V. video.

 10 to 15 minutes in length.

The project will consist of a Senior Life video.

 5 to 10 minutes in length.

 #9

The project will consist of a Senior Graduation Video.

 Lasting five minutes in length.

 #10

 The project will consist of a Senior Send Off Video

 Lasting 30 seconds for each senior student.
