House Design Project

 

Your design firm has been hired to design the outside of your clientÕs dream house with the following criteria.

 

  1. Your house can not cost more than $350,000.
  2. We will design the house from the outside as well as the floor plan.
    1. Floor plan will be at a later date.
  3. Your house will need to be brick in at least the front.
  4. Your house will need the following items where ever you think appropriate.
    1. Front door.
    2. Windows.
    3. Back door.
    4. Garage.
    5. The style of your house has to be one of the following

                                               i.     Cape code.

                                             ii.     Country

                                            iii.     Farm

                                            iv.     Ranch

                                             v.     New England

                                            vi.     Bungalow

    1. Drive Way leading out of house.
    2. Landscaping and Plant life.
    3. Mail Box.
    4. We will add shadows and create different views for a slide show.

 

  1. The average cost per square foot is $105 per square foot.
  2. Please see the Cost to Build Example
    1. We will create one of these for our house.
  3. Your lot is 350 feet deep and 300 feet across.
  4. You may add a deck, sun room, etc. to your house.
    1. Keep in mind that any additional rooms adds to your cost and sq. footage.
    2. A deck is a separate item.
  5. We will add landscaping to your drawing after house is built.
  6. We will learn how to get the best landscaping techniques when the time comes. 
    1. DonÕt put any landscaping into your drawing until house is built.
